Yucca Valley Truck Accident Lawyer’s Top Ten Things Palin Would Do After a Truck Accident

March 29th, 2011 No comments

1. Fall for another fake phone call from the French President offering his sympathy.

2. Throw the McCain aides who are trashing her under the proverbial wheels of the truck.

3. Lay low in Alaska.

4. Go moose hunting.

5. Have the Alaskan National Guard find out who’s at fault.

6. Grab a hockey stick.

7. Drop a hockey puck and whack it toward the press photographers.

8. Blame the liberal media for somehow causing the accident.

9. Deny that she had any fault in the accident.

10. Ask to give a concession speech if she is found at fault.

Here are ten more useful tips of advice from a truck accident lawyer to follow if you have been in an accident. You can also learn more about how to handle a truck accident in Yucca Valley, or any city, by calling the Law Offices of R. Sebastian Gibson at any of the numbers which can be found on our website at http://www.SebastianGibsonLaw.com  and learning how we can assist you.

Obviously, if you have had an accident, and you are reading all of this advice, it’s probably been at least a few days since the accident. However, if it’s only been a few hours or if you ever have another accident, here’s what you should do the next time from the start.

First, take a look around and determine if you or anyone, are hurt. If so, taking steps like trying to prevent further injury or loss of blood are the most important thing you can do. Even if some other driver caused you to be injured, it’s just good manners to help the other driver if they are hurt. They may even be so thankful that they admit their fault to you. The worst thing you can do is get angry or start a fight.

Second, make sure everyone is safe from being injured further. If you are in the middle of traffic, and you are dizzy, sit down away from traffic. If your vehicle is a traffic hazard and you have accident warning devices like flares or triangles, put them out on the road to warn other drivers and get away from the car. Let the police an other emergency personnel investigate the scene with the vehicles in place and move them more safely at a later point.

Third, call the police. Accident reports are extremely helpful if the police will do such a report. Let the police know you are injured immediately. Answer the police questions honestly. But if you are dazed or confused, let them know you need medical treatment and answer only what you feel sure about. Remember, your statements can and will be used against you if you admit fault, and it will be too late and too fishy to later say you didn’t know what you were saying at the scene. Police know that your best recollection is immediately after an accident.

Fourth, get the other driver’s information including their names, addresses, driver’s license numbers, make and model of their vehicles, license plate numbers, and their insurance company name and policy number. If there are witnesses, get their names, addresses and telephone numbers as well. If the other driver makes any admissions of fault, write those down as well.

Fifth, if you have a camera on your cell phone or in the car and you aren’t too injured, take some photos of the vehicles and the scene. If you can’t do it right away, do it after you are released from the hospital.

Sixth, if you are hurt, obtain medical treatment. Don’t decline the ambulance or hospital examination to save your insurance company money or to be stoic. Take your valuables out of your car if you can and get checked out at the hospital. If you are not hurt, don’t get treatment you don’t need. However, remember, after an accident, you may feel a rush of adrenaline that causes you to only start feeling symptoms of pain a few hours later. If you have a health plan that requires you to obtain permission first, call them and find out where you are allowed to seek treatment.

Seventh, call a good truck accident lawyer as soon as you have had your initial treatment, so the attorney can gather other important evidence and prevent the insurance company from taking advantage of you and obtaining such things as recorded statements that you feel fine, when many of your symptoms have yet to manifest themselves. A good truck accident lawyer can save you from making a great deal of mistakes and can shoulder much of the hassle of knowing what to do about car repairs, car rentals, medical treatment, witness statements and the like. If you think you will save money by not having an attorney, think again. A good truck accident lawyer can almost always obtain much higher settlements, obtain reductions of medical bills and insurance liens and prevent you from making costly mistakes. Also, most truck accident attorneys advance costs of obtaining police reports, medical records and the like and are paid and reimbursed for these costs only out of any settlement.

Eight, you will need to report the accident to your insurance company, but since they will want to take a recorded statement from you, just like any other driver’s insurance company, it’s good advice to retain an attorney first. And if the other driver did not have insurance, remember that it is your own insurance company that will be your adversary. You will also need to report the accident to the Department of Motor Vehicles and your lawyer can give you the form for this.

Ninth, do not agree to settle your claim privately with the person at fault for the accident. This almost never works out to your advantage. Don’t agree not to call the police. Police reports that determine the fault for an accident are golden. Your agreement to not involve the police only affords an opportunity for the other driver to change his story and blame you when the police will no longer investigate the accident.

Tenth, don’t pay a traffic ticket without a fight if you weren’t at fault or agree to accept a small payment for your vehicle repairs without knowing that the amount will in fact cover the cost of all the repairs.

March 11 Earthquake Japonesa mostra:Sendai airport helicopter Hawaii tsunami footage

March 28th, 2011 10 comments

Japan’s most powerful earthquake since records began has struck the north-east coast, triggering a massive tsunami.Cars, ships and buildings were swept away by a wall of water after the 8.9-magnitude tremor struck north-east of Tokyo.

A state of emergency has been declared at a nuclear power plant, where pressure has exceeded normal levels.Officials say 350 people are dead but it is feared the final death toll will be much higher. In Tokyo many people are spending the night in their offices. But thousands, perhaps millions, chose to walk home. Train services were suspended.
There a tsunami triggered by the quake reached six miles inland in places carrying houses, buildings, boats and cars with it.

Japan’s ground self-defense forces have been deployed, and the government has asked the US military based in the country for help. The quake was the fifth-largest in the world since 1900 and nearly 8,000 times stronger than the one which devastated Christchurch, New Zealand, last month.

Thousands of people living near the Fukushima nuclear power plant have been ordered to evacuate.pressure inside a boiling water reactor at the plant was running much higher than normal after the cooling system failed.Officials said they might need to deliberately release some radioactive steam to relieve pressure.
US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton had the US Air Force flown emergency coolant to the site. But the Japanese had decided to handle the situation by themselves.
Four nuclear power plants were shut down safely.

The tsunami went across the Pacific at 500mph right before it smashed into Hawaii and the West Coast of the United States.
Thousands of people evacuated in California, Oregon and Washington state.

The waves reached 6 and 7 feet near Crescent city California.
A tsunami warning was also in the Pacific to North and South America.
waves hit Miyagi and Fukushima and other coastal communities.A wave struck Sendai, destroying the farmland along with damaging cars and the airport runway.

Michael Jackson – Is It Scary [Death Row Remix] (Unreleased) (1997)

March 28th, 2011 12 comments

Now this is a true DEATH ROW BOMB right here! Who would it thought that “The King Of Pop” – Michael Jackson will ever team up with the notorious Death Row Records for some Pop/G-Funk crossover.. But IT’S REAL AND IT’S FUNKY! So read the full story below about the making of this dopeness and bump that in your system to the fullest!!!

In 1997 Tommy D Daugherty was hired by Michael Jackson’s team via Worlds End Management to produce a remix for ‘Is It Scary’. Sony gave him the acapella. The goal was for the remix to have the Death Row sound.
While Tommy D was working on the remix, 5 armed people burst into The Enterprise Studio in Burbank, CA. They tied him up along with the other 9 staff members and Carl ‘Butch’ Small, who was a percussionist at Death Row Records and then robbed all the synthesizers, drum machine and bass.
MJ’s team stayed quiet about this event because they didn’t want negative publicity. The next day Tommy D had a session planned with KoRn but didn’t have his equipment anymore. Snoop Dogg heard about the incident and gave Tommy D a $5000 check to help him. The remix was done on July 17, 1997 but was never released…

Why is cannabis illegal in the United States?

March 27th, 2011 11 comments

It seems strange to me, there is not one recorded death from cannabis anywhere on earth, the first cannabis related law in the United States was in Jamestown in 1619 ordering farmers to grow it, you could even pay your taxes with it! George Washington grew the plant, and the declaration of independence was written on hemp paper. So after all that, there must be a logical reason why it was made illegal.

Big C is actually the closest to the real answer.

Marijuana was made illegal due to a single man, Harry J. Anslinger, who became director of the Federal Bureau of Narcotics in 1930. Remember that 1930 was in the middle of Prohibition, meaning that alcohol was illegal at the time and the puritanicals in power were against all mind altering substances. Also, the Bureau of Narcotics was part of the Treasury Department, which was also in charge of enforcing Prohibition (see Elliot Ness, for example).

Anslinger was quite power hungry (also common in in the BOI and BOP during the 1930’s — see J. Edgar Hoover). Anslinger quickly latched onto marijuana as his way to obtain more power through outright lies and misrepresentations, playing on the racism and fear of immigrants of the time. Here’s a few quotes:

“There are 100,000 total marijuana smokers in the US, and most are Negroes, Hispanics, Filipinos, and entertainers. Their Satanic music, jazz, and swing, result from marijuana use. This marijuana causes white women to seek sexual relations with Negroes, entertainers, and any others.”
“…the primary reason to outlaw marijuana is its effect on the degenerate races.”
“Marijuana is an addictive drug which produces in its users insanity, criminality, and death.”
“Reefer makes darkies think they’re as good as white men.”
“Marihuana [sic] leads to pacifism and communist brainwashing”
“You smoke a joint and you’re likely to kill your brother.”
“Marijuana is the most violence-causing drug in the history of mankind.”

Of course, today, we all know this is all hogwash, but Anslinger and his good friend and yellow journalist William Randolph Hearst (who never let facts get in the way of a good headline) managed to convince the public of the dangers of marijuana.

By 1937, his campaign worked well enough that marijuana was made illegal.

How to send songs you’ve written to record label companies?

March 27th, 2011 1 comment

Hello, I am a singer-songwriter that plays guitar and some violin too. I’ve been writing for quite a while, and I think recently I’ve been getting very good. Do you know the process of sending songs to record labels so you could get signed up or get recognition from it? Links would be appreciated. I write influential, inspirational lyrics that sound like they would go perfect with an acoustic guitar melody. Sounds like something LIGHTS, Owl City, The Veronicas, or nevershoutnever would be singing. I also write screamo/death core songs, something Bring Me The Horizon or Black Veil Brides would be singing. I’m 14 years old and I live in Utah, so its going to be a challenge getting recognized as a singer there, unless I attend those prestigious smart-ass mormon colleges. I cannot record my songs because I do not have a video camera or studio material. But I have a nice voice. Thank you. xo

It sounds like you need to figure out how to record yourself before you think about sending in a recording.

There a quite a few recording studios in Utah that you might want to get a hold of.

This is a good article on the steps you need to take in order to send your songs to a record label company.

Probating A Will In A Small Texas town?

March 27th, 2011 2 comments

My dad died this year living his ninety year old wife as executrix of his will, I was next if my stepmother was not able to serve. which she was not. she is well know in this because she was very active, everyone knows her mind is going. I have P.O.A, there was a hearig to declare her incompetent, the day of the hearing the lawyer that made the will presented to the judge he wanted the banker be repersenative for my stepm, without my knowledge or my lawyer’s. my lawyer told the judge he had made several attempts by ph, and mail without return, and the judge said you have not talked. I’ll give you a minute to talk. I went ahead an agree to this. I feel violated and disrepected. I wint to the bank and tried to get bank I was told my P.O.A. was not good death. I have an expiration on p.o.a 2030. I tried to get a statement of liens or judgement against. the person look in computer and the judge had the records. and it was not on the comp. Can they do this? the money dad gave me bef H D

1. I have no idea what a POA is.
2. Lots of small towns are crooked.
3. Suspicious that a "banker" (he who holds the accounts, huh?) is appointed to manage the s-mother’s affairs instead of a neutral third party.
4. Giving you ONLY one minute is expressed prejudice and grounds for an appeal
5. Records cannot be removed from a computer and given to a judge. The judge would recieve certified COPIES of the records.
6. Unless you are a moron and have irritated everyone in the town with loud whining and clumsy actions, you have grounds to blow this open.

You need another attorney and then let him/her handle this.

Just remember this. If the estate is small, the lawyers–even the good ones if you should find one (lots of luck) will eat the money up and no one will have anything.

where do I find a site to where I can view public records for the state of Arkansas, United States of America?
