Real Name:

Götz-Christian Morgenstern

Profile:

Christian Morgenstern was born on the 10th of November 1975 in Düsseldorf, Germany.
Being interested in technical issues since he was a child, he bought his first Commodore Amiga when he was 15 and started interesting in graphics. Together with a classmate he founded a graphic-duo and pixelled the artwork for early computer-animated movies.
By 1994 Christian also started making music with the Amiga and produced Synthie-Pop and C-64 like tunes, only using Amiga internal samples and music capabilities (a track from that period can be heard on “Night Of The Living Death”).
In 1995 he had his first contact with synthesizers, when Elef Tsiroudis (now owner of Shokoy Records) called him and told him about a Yamaha SY85 he bought and about his plans to produce electronic music. So Christian also bought some equipment (after he worked at the local steel-melting factory) and travalled to Stuttgart. About six months later they released their first (and last) single on their own label “? Records” as Human Target. 1996 the team split, Christian bought a sample and started producing on his own. He released his first single on Important Extracts entitled “… Minus 38 And Counting…”, met Heiko Laux and gave him a demo tape containing the tracks of the “Miscellaneous EP”, that was released a month later on Kanzleramt Records.
In October 96 Christian started working at a computer-animation studio for several months, and created two experimental music clips for his tracks. 1997 he moves to Cologne and starts studying at the Academy of Media Arts. Further releases on Kanzleramt. Besides producing records for labels like Kurbel, Konsquent and Creation Rebel, Christian gave birth to his own outlet Forte Records in 1999.
Where as Christian used to produce his first releases only using an Amiga, a sampler, a mixing desk and an effects unit, he turned into a true gearhead, mainly using vintage equipment and tube amplifiers from the 70’s and early 80’s. He developed his own, unique style and with the release of “Death Before Disko” in 1999, he proved once againt, that he was one of the most versatile Techno musicians. Along with “Death Before Disko” Christian produced his first experimental short movie entitled “M.I.L.K.” as part of his pre-exams. Followed by this is the super-moody album “The Lydia EP”, released end of 1999, which is played by Djs throughout the world. After a little production break, Christian released his highly acclaimed Electro-Pop album “Hawaii Blue” in early 2001. This production is highly influenced by his undeniable affection for 80’s Pop and Rock music and can be seen as a further step in his development from a Techno artist to a musician. As already suggested in previous works, with “Hawaii Blue”, he nearly totally refused to accept the club-compatibility dogma, and mixes Pop tunes with listening tracks and retro-ballads.
End of 2001 Christian cancels his studies to concentrate on Forte Records and making music.
Christian Morgenstern died on June 19th 2003 in his apartment in Cologne at the age of just 27. After skating with friends he went home because he felt pain in his chest. No one could reach him for a few days and finally a friend found him dead in his apartment. Christian was working night and day on his new album at the time.

Giant wave (Mike Parsons at Jaws Beach / Hawaii)

July 27th, 2011 25 comments

Mike Parsons (born March 3, 1965) is a surfer sponsored by the Billabong company who famously successfully surfed a 66-foot (22 meters) wave at Cortez Bank, CA in 2001, for which he was awarded $66,000, the highest prize ever awarded in the history of professional surfing. This money was awarded by the Billabong XXL competition which has run since 2001 paying tribute to the biggest waves ridden each year. This feat at Cortez Bank was popularised by the film Billabong Odyssey. Parsons is famous for a video clip of him riding a wave about 65 tall at Jaws, shot from a helicopter, that many believed was the biggest wave ever surfed. Parsons recently broke his record on January 5, 2008, at Cortez Bank, when he was photographed surfing a wave that the Billabong XXL judged to be 70+ feet, which should put him in the Guinness Book of World Records, officially, for biggest wave ever surfed. Unofficially the biggest wave ever surfed remains Ken Bradshaw’s wave at Log Cabins, Oahu on January 28, 1998, at over 80 feet.

————————

“Too Drunk to Fuck” was the fourth single by the Dead Kennedys.
The record was released in May 1981 on Cherry Red Records with “The Prey” as the b-side.
Both songs from this single are available on the rarities album Give Me Convenience or Give Me Death (1987).

The single reached Number 36 in the UK Singles Chart, although it was not stocked in some record shops because of its provocative title.
It was the first UK Top 40 single to include the word “fuck” in its title. It was banned from Radio 1 airplay by the BBC. In chart listings, it was usually referred to as “Too Drunk To”. When it reached the Top 40, presenter Tony Blackburn referred to it simply as “a record by the Dead Kennedys”.
The Dead Kennedys supplied a sticker for some record stores who took offense to the title which said, “Caution: You are the victim of yet another stodgy retailer afraid to warp your mind by revealing the title of this record so peel slowly and see…”

The song features a heavy surf rock/garage rock riff from guitarist East Bay Ray and satirical lyrics from Jello Biafra that paint a trenchant picture of an outrageous, moronic party.

Licensing controversy

After the rest of the band were awarded the rights to the Dead Kennedys material, they licensed “Too Drunk to Fuck” for use in the film Grindhouse. Almost immediately, Biafra criticized his former bandmates, specifically citing the song (a cover by Nouvelle Vague) being used in a rape scene in the movie, saying “Some people will do anything for money.”
The rest of the band responded in kind, challenging him to donate his share of the money to charity.

Cover versions

Serbian punk rock band Atheist Rap recorded a cover version of the song which appeared on the Punk You All various artists compilation in 1998.
Stephan Weidner played this song a few times on his “Schneller, Höher, Weidner”-Tour.
Thrash Metal band Holy Moses plays the song usually as encore on their live performances
Nouvelle Vague have a popular cover on their self-titled first album Nouvelle Vague
Finnish ska band The Valkyrians have recorded a cover version of the song.
The Psychobilly Band Klingonz covered the song on the album Blurb.
Basque punk rock band Lendakaris Muertos made a cover called Demasiado ciego para follar.
Die Kassierer, a punk rock band from Germany, made a cover called Zu voll zum Verkehr on their album “Musik für beide Ohren”.

Why is Obama using someone else’s Social Security card as his own?

May 19th, 2011 10 comments

An investigation has revealed the identity of the man whose Social Security number (SSN) has been illegally used by Obama: Jean Paul Ludwig, who was born in France in 1890, emigrated to the United States in 1924, and was assigned SSN 042-68-4425 in or about March 1977. Ludwig lived most of his adult life in Connecticut . His SSN begins with the digits 042, which are among several reserved for Connecticut residents. Obama never lived or worked in that state, so there is no reason for his SSN to start with the digits 042.

Now comes the best part. Ludwig spent the final months of his life in Hawaii, where he died. Conveniently, Obama’s grandmother, Madelyn Payne Dunham, worked part-time in the Probate Office in the Honolulu Hawaii Courthouse, and therefore had access to the SSN’s of deceased individuals. The Social Security Administration was never informed of Ludwig’s death, and because he never received Social Security benefits there were no benefits to stop and no questions were raised. The suspicion, of course, is that Dunham, knowing her grandson was not a U.S. citizen—either because he was born in Kenya or became a citizen of Indonesia upon his adoption by Lolo Soetoro—merely scoured the probate records until she found someone who died who was not receiving Social Security benefits, and “selected” that SSN for Obama.

Although many Americans do not understand the meaning of the term "natural born citizen," there are few who do not understand that if you are using someone else’s SSN it is a clear indication of fraud.
You nay sayers can research that as easily as I, then you don’t have to come back with all the excuses for the links I post on the subject. If you were really interested that is,and not just wanting to not believe the truth as all liberals are.

Very interesting…

In any case, 0bama is a FRAUD and a LIAR.
