The sad part is the number of albums I left off, or didn’t bother to edit in, because the list would just get out of hand. The 2000s have been the most diverse decade ever in Metal, and the quantity of bands is only matched by the overall quality. People who complain about the state of Metal today, quite simply have not bothered to look past the local Hot Topic.
