ROFLMFAO.
calling someone uneducated whilst you make a huge spelling error. The word is spelled "denier"

Idiots….man-made global warming is a man-made theory that has been and will continue to be proven false. Some of us knew this all along, I suppose because of our higher levels of discernment.

2008 the year the media died
2009 the year that the global warming myth died
2010 the year that…..the blue dogs die?

Why is it that every single cold snap brings the uneducated deniers out in droves?

Do you have any appreciation at all for the complexity of weather patterns? More importantly can you appreciate the massive amounts of energy required to melt our ice caps so quickly?

World temperature have not sky rocketed [yet] because the earth is still in the thawing out stage, but once all the ice is gone things are really going to start heating up.

    Yes they do.
They are lining up right now to call you ignorant for imagining that cold weather is not caused by Gore-Bull Warming.
Of course they now have to call it ‘climate change’ as if the climate has not been changing back and forth in cycles for billions of years.
No you silly denier – it’s your SUV that causes it!

Apparently you can not tell the difference between climate and seasonal weather.
Global warming is real. Very real.
Go to Alaska and see where glaciers that used to reach the sea have retreated 1 mile or more inland over the last 50 years.

THey will tell you that weather has nothing to do with climate until summer comes, and then they will freak out because it is hot across the country and point to the hot weather as proof that we are all going to burn up and die

Only the ones that are too stupid to realize that "global warming" is just a media catch-phrase. Why the media feel the need to ‘dumb-down’ everything so that even non-thinking people can understand it is beyond me. Oh, wait, maybe it isn’t, I’ve seen these questions before and they can’t ALL be trolls, right?

you really need to inform yourself…global warming results in extremes of weather and the ultimate result will probably be another ice age…it does not mean it will be 90 degrees everywhere

As someone noted above, you have a poor grasp of the difference between weather and climate. You’ll also find that one of the effects of global warming noted by climatologists is to have shorter bursts of extreme weather. If you look at climate patterns, these sorts of cold seasons last for shorter periods of time. Up until this cold snap at the end of DECEMBER, the country was having warmer than normal temps. I have no doubt that this cold snap is going to last considerably shorter than the winter season.

    Cheers.

The people who would call me a denier have never heard of geomorphology, in which I have a degree.

They keep asserting that we’re in a cold year within a warming trend. It isn’t true. They keep asserting that climate change is causing the extremes to get more extreme. It isn’t true. They keep asserting that all this is not natural. It is natural; we have strata in the Grand Canyon that prove we are in the exact place we are supposed to be in at this time during the cycle. We don’t have history recorded by man, but we do have history literally set in stone by nature to study. These sky-is-falling freaks choose not to avail themselves of it.

There’s nothing we can do about that except sit back and be accused of "hating science," when in fact, they are the ones either ignoring the science or trying to manipulate their findings into something that will support their bullshit.

It’s 25 degrees Farenheit in Houston right now, with clear blue skies.

The AGW theory is, warming causes more evaporation, which leads to more precipitation, which cools the atmosphere at ground level by bringing cold temperatures from cloud level down to the surface. So even though the Earth is warming, the temperature goes down.

Furthermore, the precipitation falls from clouds, which reflect more sunlight back into space. This further reduces temperatures.

So the colder it gets, that proves how much the Earth is warming.

Which is why we have clear skies and freezing weather in Houston right now, with no precipitation.

Now, to a rational scientist, this is seen as a natural balancing mechanism, which explains why the Earth’s climate is stable. People with actual meteorology training realize that Houston is freezing right now simply because an Arctic air mass has moved south as far as the Gulf of Mexico, as has happened in winters for as long as recorded history.

But to the hoax peddlers, it’s all opposite world. What seems good is bad, according to them.

GWS-it’s cold in Houston now because the jet stream dipped lower than usual brining cold Canadian air down to your area. I do like your long winded explanation, it sounded good.
It’s funny how when it is 100 in LA in the summer all of the AGW people are talking about how bad it is, when it is cold in Fla it is also due to AGW. So which is it?

Yes, indeed they do. They will say climate does not equal weather, but conveniently ignore that the earth has gone through numerous climate changes through millions of years. In other words, global warming nuts are so uppity they think they are bigger than mother earth.

The silly global warmer hawker’s pat and childish answer to your question will be a predictable: "Don’t confuse weather with climate."

That response is an insulting demeaning answer typical of liberals who reject facts while preferring to embrace self serving politically expedient hypotheses.

The fact is: Global warming is a hypothesis. It is not even a theory based on scientific criteria for a theory. The lame stream press often incorrectly calls global warming a theory.

There are also many scientists who say that the earth is headed for another ice age. That too has not been proven. But the claim is just as plausible as global warming.

The global warming hypothesis has no credible long term repeatable evidence to support the claim.

Also weather patterns are not consistently predictable with in a narrow time frame. Predictions can be off by thousands of years which makes such predictions not relevant and not usable.

Weather or climate is NOT predictable within a relevant working time frame. The only thing about weather or climate that is predictable is that it will change. LOL.

Also, blaming man is disingenuous. Anyone who reviews earth’s climate history, based on evidence from ice cores, rock formations and sediments and tree rings can easily see that weather patterns in the past shifted all by their lonesome because man did not release pollution into the air, prior to the industrial revolution. Yet the evidence suggests that the earth’s climate shifted rapidly.

Lastly, it is also naive and hopelessly unscientific to believe that man can stop another ice age or warming period.

And, if they somehow did, they can NOT predict the ramifications of such changes.

The earth has climate patterns for reason scientists do not fully understand and stopping them could cause negative ramifications.

im a democrat-liberal and I know that the Earth’s core cooled 2 degrees (a lot b/c 6 degrees will send us into an ice age) so no.

As you can see by some of the answers, people are really stupid and have bought into this hoax. They still think polar bears are in danger, even though their population continues to increase. Even though no one has ever produced any proof that the warming trend that we had experienced up to 10 years ago was caused by man’s contribution of plant food into the atmosphere (which is still less than 1% of the total atmosphere).
