Is this true? Welcome to BarryWorld?

Anyone as puzzled as I was about all the media hype on our new Administration, or notice the media does not ask our new Administration any challenging questions? There’s been a great deal of censorship in the news, and on the Internet, it forums and newspapers in the past few months, and we are losing our freedom of speech quickly. Is this why all the deaths at Disneyland and Disney World don’t get reported?

Walt Disney Productions is one of Obama’s largest money contributors – the donations below do not include the contributions by the companies owned by Disney. And take a look below to see what media Disney owns:

http://www.opensecrets.org/pres08/search.php?cid=N00009638&name=%28all%29&employ=Walt+Disney&state=%28all%29&zip=%28any+zip%29&submit=OK&amt=a&sort=A

Walt Disney Productions owns the media companies below. Any wonder you cannot believe anything you read anymore? Think twice before buying anything "Disney" – because that’s who’s running this Country now. And we wonder why the theme park continues to flourish with so many children’s deaths that don’t even shut down a ride for a day? – the majority not being reported. And this is who is now stifling our ability to speak out as well.

The honeymoon’s coming to an end. People are finally starting to wake up and wonder when the campaigning and promises will actually stop and the action to follow up those promises will start. So far, no promises except Guantanamo have been promised, and even the Guantanamo thing was announced without and actual plan of what to do.

not sure about this site. Disney/ABC is actually a highly "conservative" corporation….remember how they refused to allow Michael Moore release Fahrenheit 9/11?

    You’re just now discovering this?

"You provide the pictures, I’ll provide the war." ~ William Randolph Hearst, newspaper magnate and purported inventor of yellow journalism. From 1898 just prior to the Spanish-American War.

The media has always been perceived as lapdogs of the liberal politicians and here’s why. Conservatives support the status quo. But the status quo leads to complacency and stagnation. So it’s the job of the media to challenge the status quo. (In dictatorships, the media supports the status quo, or ELSE!) Since liberals are defined as challenging the status quo, the media sees them as social compatriots.

Note that this is a generalization and does not stand up in every case, only a description of how generalization leads to perception.

Challenging questions like "What magazines do you read?". That stumped the VP candidate from the GOP fairly easily. That was a softball question lobbed across the plate, and still she couldn’t handle it.

I don’t remember any of the "liberal" media asking Cheney how drunk he was when he shot a friend in the face, or how much stock Bush owned from Haliburton. How come no one asked why Bush sat on his butt instead of doing something during 9/11? Or are those questions to challenging?

I’m guessing you only care when the other side is doing well. It’s okay, everyone likes to root for their team and only cries foul when they get hosed.
