where can I find public records of death certificates or records?

In New England.

They are in the county recorder’s office. Generally, all you have to do is request the document you want, and it will be copied for you for a fee.

    try the clerk of court or online go to "public record search"..good luck to you..

    The Social Security Death Index. Enter the decedents name and you can order a copy of their certificate/record via the page that comes up-
