Death Records Now

I want to begin the process of obtaining a pardon for crimes I was convicted of from an accident back in 2002. Basically I went to 2 different pardon attorneys and recieved very different information. I assume this is because until I pay a retainer they are not going to spend anytime looking at my case. I want some other oppinions.

I was charged with Homicide by vehicle and reckless endangerment for an accident in which I was unable to stop for a red traffic signal and collided with another vehicle in which the other motorist was killed. Back then i was young and nieve in thinking that my attorney would actually help me. Instead he forced me to plead guilty to these crimes. At face value, everyone comes to conclusions thinking I must have done something wrong otherwise I wouldn’t have been charged this way. I say BS, there was no extenuating circumstance that I commited with gross negligence. Now I believe, at most and by talking to other officers, and reading about law that I should have been charged with Carless Driving with Accidental Death. I did nothing to warrant criminal action in that accident.

So talking with one attorney who barely had any facts and contacted the pardon board, said they would not grant a pardon for something like this. She said people need to know about it. She also said the only way I would have a chance is if I could prove I was wronfully charged. The other attorney with little information said I should wait until 15 years pass and then file for a pardon based on the fact that I have trouble obtaining jobs. He said accusing them of excessive charges would not go in my favor and that it is water under the bridge.

These people are contradicting eachother and I am confused. I feel like I have to say I was somehow wrongfully charged, however I am afraid I will get denied like the second attorney said.

Please, someoene who knows something about law give me some advice. I am desperate to have this criminal record removed. I am not a criminal and don’t believe I should be looked at as a criminal.

The second attorney is pretty much right on. The fact that you plead guilty and the facts are not in dispute will make things considerably more difficult.

Your allegation that you were "forced" to plead guilty by your attorney does not hold water. Don’t go there.

The reason people conclude that you "must" have done something wrong to get the charges you did is because that’s how it works. The state "must" prove that you’ve done what the law describes for that charge in order to be convicted. The judge would not allow you to plead guilty to a charge either if it didn’t appear that you actually did what the charges say you did. You can’t plead guilty to bank robbery if there’s no evidence that a bank was actually robbed, and you can’t plead guilty to vehicular homicide if you were simply in a bad accident.

The Army intelligence analyst accused of leaking thousands of classified documents to WikiLeaks was hit Wednesday with an additional 22 charges, including aiding the enemy, which is equivalent to treason in the civilian world.

That crime is a capital offense but the military is not seeking the death penalty against Pfc. Bradley Manning. If Manning is convicted of all the charges, he faces life in prison, reduction in rank to the lowest enlisted pay grade, a dishonorable discharge and loss of all pay and allowances.

The Army made the announcement of additional charges after seven months of investigation.
"The new charges more accurately reflect the broad scope of the crimes that Pvt. 1st Class Manning is accused of committing," said Capt. John Haberland, a legal spokesman for the Military District of Washington.

Other charges announced Wednesday include wrongfully causing intelligence to be published on the Internet knowing that it will be accessed by the enemy; theft of public property or records; transmitting Defense information; and fraud in connection with computers.

Be very careful when you endorse any punishment, including a date with Bubba, or else you might find that you don’t have as high a moral sense as you thought, especially should your turn with Bubba come around.

An extermly sick military veteran has been found guilty of murder and rape in more than one case, and President Bush has polished his record of being a hanging judge of Texas reputation by approving his execution. It is shame to put it perfectly. Bush is good at being a hard ass while he hides behind being a rich boy and a person never held responsible for any of his crimes. It can only be hoped that some day Bush jr will be held responsible for all that he is guilty for in the world today including the deaths of many young American kids in Iraq.

Well I am in agreement with you about Iraq but not sure about the person who has been condemn to death by guilt of rape and murder as the Governor of Texas could he not pardon the poor unfortunate man???I must make it clear I am against any form of capital punishment by anyone state or the killers they should not be killed of two wrongs do not make it right.

The chances of getting the wrong person for a crime is now 0% in my opinion and mostly when they have LONG criminal records I mean I see on tv they arrest people with 4 to 11 pages in crime history I mean that people is just Not right
Why should animals be allowed to live like Ian Huntley or any other rapers or serial killers that could be your neightbor or your friend Would you loose any sleep if he was dead?

Now how "New Dog Owner" prespective look Yes I’m with him 1st offenders and people with regular crimes everyone can be a victim and everyone can be a Offender a Trafic ticket I had before, speeding ticket, being drunk when I was a kid, I mean I can understand that but we’re talking about people who they wake up and there thought is have Sex with your child or Mine and some they would do it some they don’t but for those I don’t need to know they’re guilty or not no one can have thoughts like that,… before was hard to prove guiltyness now this days is DNA, and Cientific Test that are 99% right so I would Doud about that?

death penalty takes too LONG and too much MONEY. instead of losing troops we should drop off the criminals and a box of weapons and if they win the war they win their freedom… in ANOTHER COUNTRY!
