August 26th, 2011 3 comments

My recently found deceased dad of whom I know nothing about except his dob and date of death and the places is deceased so I never attended a funeral nor did my mom so I don’t know any of his friends no library has a obituary, the death certificate didn’t list it and the possible cemetery didn’t have him and if it helps at all I live in The Maryland suburbs of Southeast District of Columbia (Temple Hills, MD 20748), My dad’s name is Tyrone Tucker 1961-2002 visit: https://familysearch.org/search/recordDetails/show?uri=https://api.familysearch.org/records/pal:/MM9.1.r/Q4YR-GT2/p1
to see the death certificate.
Thanks, Timothy Warren

These are addresses for a Tyrone C Tucker b. Dec 13, 1961 and the year of the record. Look in Oklahoma for death certificate. Norman is in Cleveland County. There is a Tyrone Tucker in Norman OK as late as 1998.
4731 Frankford Ave, Philadelphia, PA, 19124-5812 (1991)
2101 S Simpson St, Philadelphia, PA, 19142-2029 (1993)
1380 Creekside Dr Apt 806, Norman, OK, 73071-1930 (1996)
1908 Lakehurst Dr, Norman, OK, 73071-1608 (1996)

You also might try calling the local funeral homes in Norman.

Also do a Google Search of name in quotes and look at people search sites, then look for PA and Norman OK matches. There is even a Groton, CT location associated with the name and Norman, OK. They also listed other names associated with his.

How to look for my birth mother who has been missing over 20 years?

May 5th, 2010 2 comments

I Have been searching for my birth mother for several years now. I am 29 Years old and I am a mother of three amazing boys who don’t know there own grandmother . I have an older brother who really is not interested in finding her. I found out last year on Christmas Eve that I had a sister same birth mom. She was adopted and she new about my brother and I all her life. I met her for the first time last year on New Years. It was so awesome getting to know her I never had a sister I never new about her which makes me sad. My mother’s name is Martha Ann McGraw her D.O.B. IS 1-1-1959 her last known where about was in Mesquite Texas in 2002. She has no record after 2002. She is not in any death records in Texas. She hasn’t been remarried as far as know. I tried every agency. Most of them are way tooooooooo exspensive. It is an endless search . Does anyone have any ideas for me on my journy to search for my long lost Birth Mother ? NO ON IN MY ENTIRE FAMILY IS HELPING ME NOR KNOW WHERE SHE COULD BE THEY GAVE UP. I will never give up my search for my mother. PLEASE HELP SOMEONE!!!

ancestry.com is sometimes useful. Try searching local town databses, like the tax assessor’s office database, in nearby towns to where you think she may be. If she owns a home/property you may find luck. Those databases are open to the public (a few towns may charge small fee to access), but they will not show up on a google search.

This can be a tough thing. Do you make yourself searchable on the internet? If you maintain a public page for yourself, you will make it easy for her to find you, if she’s looking.

Keep searching, the internet is a valuable tool. Use different search engines, yahoo, ask.com, etc …. sometimes they come up with different results.

HELP! WORRIED ABOUT MY SON…?

March 10th, 2010 5 comments

Im a little worried about my son. We live in Compton California which is notorious for gang activites and homicides, and I have been suspecting that he is affiliated with a Blood gang. He is friends with a kid whose father worked with Suge Knight (Im assuming you know who that is) back in the 90’s when Death Row Records was big. So this alone has alarmed me. I know my son isnt a bad person and I doubt he would do anything as far as taking someone’s life, but I have noticed something else that alarmed me.

He has always been good in school, particulary on assignments about history. He really enjoys reading and researching about people like Al Capone and people like that. So I know he is into reading history of this sort of thing.

But for the last couple of weeks I have been seeing that he is reading a lot about murderers. Jack the Ripper is someone he reads a lot about. And more recently he has really been reading a lot about the Columbine Massacre.

If my son was going to be involved in any type of criminal activity, Im positive in would be gang activity (not saying I condone it) and I am 100% sure he would never think of doing anything like what he is reading about.

But I am just wondering if living in a city where there is so many murders, multiple murders just about ever week, is that something that is increasing his interest on this type of thing? And could there be any type of connection at all as to why is he reading so much about these things?

Your son is heading for trouble if he is with any gang. I did a google search on average age of gange members. Only approx 13% of gang members are 24 or over. The rest are essentially children. Be aware that this doens’t mean they all grow up and get out of it. The majority of them just don’t live beyond 24.

The best thing you can do is take your son and move far away from the gang he is active in. You will probably need to get some professionals to talk to him so he doesn’t seek out more of the same kind of people to hang with.

One word of caution, he can’t just disengage himself and stay in the same community. It doesn’t work like that. I lived in a small town, My 15 year old son was telling me they were forming a neighborhood gang… As we discussed it further he told me they named themselves WSC. Well I knew that was a major gang and told my son about it. He decided he didn’t want to participate afterall. 3 days later I was having to make funeral arrangements for my son.

Please act as quickly and as safely for your son as possible. This isn’t something to play with.

How to Find People Online Free–old Family, Classmates, Lost Love, Friends and Anyone From Your Past

February 7th, 2010 No comments

If you’re trying to find anyone on the Web, whether a long lost friend from high school, lost love, long lost part of family history, or anyone from your past , I suggest you some steps below which will help.
Step1.Google
Do a Google search on the name, of course.

Step2.People Search EnginesThere are a few search engines that fine-tune regular Google results top focus on people-finding.If you’re trying to figure out how to find people online or offline, then you may very well be interested in something called an online people finder service. These services allow you to find people such as an old classmate, an old friend, a relative or whomever else for that matter. There are various sites such as these available online, some of which are free and some of which have paid inclusions. The paid ones give you a little more info and more individualized for more of an investigation type of a situation. The free ones will give you things like the person’s name, relatives, location and even a phone number.
These website services are incredibly useful but also convenient technology wise. Back in the day before these sites and the Internet existed you would have to do some hefty detective work for yourself in order to find any information about anyone, even going as far as hiring a private investigator which could cost thousands of dollars! Now you simply turn on your computer, visit the website, enter in the information it asks for, and voila you’re home free.

You can find anyone you want, day or night, simple as that, all you need is an Internet connection and a clue! Also, I’m finding that a lot of these services talk about celebrity people finders, and on a lot of these sites it actually does work! The inclusions will include things like fan email address, fan p.o box, location, age of celebrity, and a lot more. Pretty cool stuff, and as said above it’s a great way to get reintroduced to an old mate, friend, or a relative and YES these do work, check them out the next time you are looking for someone online!

The Internet is a great place to find old family and friends – if you know where to look. Two websites you should check out if you need to find an old colleague are WhoWhere at www.Reunion.com, and FreePeopleSearchInfo at www.FreePeople-SearchInfo.com . These sites give you a variety of ways to search for people on and off the Internet, and just might help you find someone you haven’t talked to in years.

Step3.Phone Book. The beauty of online searching is that there are now national (and international) phone books, so you can search the entire US.

Step4.Google News.If your person was mentioned in the news, then a search of news past and present may well turn up the name.

Step5.SSDI.The grimly-named Social Security Death Index has records of 82 million US deaths since 1963. Unless you’re sure you’re looking for someone who is still alive, SSDI is a good place to search.

Step6.Intelius.This is a fee-based service, but they have a deep database, and you can do a preliminary search for free, which will show (among other things) age, city and relatives.

Step7.Social Networks —Most of the people-information on the various “friends” sites on the internet will show up in a regular Google search, but they can easily get lost. Head directly to MySpace, FaceBook, and Classmates.com (for a school-specific search) to see if your person is listed (and pay attention to some of the advanced search functions offered, like the Friend Finder at FaceBook).

Step8Also search on Google Groups, and BlogSearch to unearth even more results.

Step9.Book Searches. Was your person ever mentioned in a book? A search at Amazon Books and Google Books will look inside the books themselves.

Step10.Jigsaw.comThis site is the best business contacts database in existence. It is a fee-based site, but you can do a preliminary search for free and find out if your person is in the database, and what company they are with.

Step11.Family History:I can only touch on the vast genealogy databases on the web, but for people searching (past and present), it’s hard to beat FamilySearch. The Ellis Island database has millions of records of immigrants to the US in the 19th and early 20th centuries. Cyndi’s List is a huge directory of other ancestry resources.

Step11.Public records. If you know a city or county where your person lives, then public records are another resource. They are too diverse to summarize here, but try a search on: registered voters COUNTY NAME, state.
Hoping all these helps you in your searching for the desired person.

Can Someone Please Help Me Out With Some Information…….?

January 24th, 2010 2 comments

Need to know how to go about getting an address registry, without cost, for People of the City of Utah. Especially the Salt Lake City Area. Met a Family on line who would like to do a Mass mail out, due to the death of Their Son. (Not For Money).

I know the Politicians can get them. Do They obtain the addresses from the Voter Registration Lists, City Water Department Records, or possibly the County Tax Office? If
so, is there a cost to Them?

Any Help would be GREATLY Appreciated…………….

Thanks To All, Truly Thank You!
