Gregor Mendel was a very intelligent man. Born on July 20, 1822 he accomplished many things in his life. Mendel graduated from high school and studied at the university of Vienna. Gregor was raised on a farm and loved to examine things as a young boy. Gregor is well known for being the first person to trace the characteristics of successive generations of living things. He is also well known for examining more than 29000 pea plants.

Around 1851 Gregor Mendel was sent to study Pea plants at the university of Vienna. Between 1956 and 1963 M nodal cultivated and tested more than 29000 pea plants. Mendel was inspired by both his colleagues and his professors at his college. HE began to experiment with honeybees so that he could cross over his work into animals. Mendel also produced a hybrid strain that was so strong it killed the honeybees at immediate contact. He failed to generate a clear picture of the hereditary and the mating behaviors of queen bees. He also described novel plant species and theses are do noted with the author abbreviation "Mendel".

Mendel ended his work in 1968 as he became consumed with increased administrative duties. Mendel dies January 6, 1884 at the tender age of 61. Years after his death the papers that was held in his collection were burned by abbots. His work was rejected while he was alive but after he died and before his records were burned his studies and findings were welled accepted. The modern synthesis uses Mendel’s genetics. All in all Gregor Mendel was a great man and accomplished many things in his life time.

Summary

I have learned a lot about the body systems in the lat few weeks and would like to share some information with you. I learned that the body does a lot of work and really should be taken care of. I learned about all the systems in the body including the Circulatory, Skeletal, Immune, Reproductive, Digestive, Endocrine, Excretory, Muscular, and Nervous system. While you continue to read my paper I will tell you about some of the systems and how they operate.

The Circulatory system includes your heart, blood, and blood vessels. It works to circulate blood in and out of your heart into the right places. The Skeletal system is basically your bones. Your bones are very important because it is the thing that gives your body structure and its shape. The Digestive system includes your esophagus, liver, gall bladder, large intestine, appendix, stomach, pancreas, small intestine, and your rectum. Your digestive system is probably one of the most important things in your body considering it cleans your body of all the waste. The nervous system includes your brain. Your brain is the most important part of your body because it controls everything and all the functions in your body. The muscular system is all of the muscles in your body. In fact every human has between 656 to 850 muscles in his/ her body.

There is way more to learn and to talk about. But unfortunately my teacher only asked for a one page paper of what I learned. All in all the body and its systems are very interesting and I would like to learn more about them.

ok you got me i am confused
