Long question but important. Please answer. Decisions about the next Presidential White House?

April 22nd, 2011 5 comments

A former Democrat I no longer belong to a "Party" & will never again. I am changing my voters registration. The Person(s) their life/history/political record/present is what will decide my votes.
So many people of all ages amazingly have been saying no more Parties also. I’m stunned how often its being said. People changed Parties even flipped a couple of times (hard but eye opening years)but seem to be saying no parties anymore.
Have you heard a lot of this too?
I want & hope John McCain will run for us as President, Jessie Ventura possible VP. I do think Colin Powell could help a lot in a leading role too.
I think these men are solid Americans. "Parties" mean nothing anymore in truth we need persons of Honor from all walks of life poor blue collar who worked their way up. Washington must become real they are nothing of reality there but also we need people who know the ropes so to speak.
Although just recently becoming familiar with J.Ventura he is impressive.
McCain & Powell both know what the Hell of War is. Screams of men including your own friends won’t stop sometimes their in your head even when you are finally get back home. Heard men say at night when its quite whether awake or asleep they hear them.
McCain was POW he lived that Hell. Our troops & their families NEED & MUST have someone who understands what war is. We all need someone in the White House like that ASAP. McCain has health problems yes so he needs a solid team & if God Forbid he falls ill temporarily. Many may remember when Regan was hurt, hospitalized, & also underwent surgery from the assassination attempt VP Bush took temp. run of the White House. VP Bush also took temporary control again after the terrible head injury Reagan endured falling from the horse & underwent was it 2 brain surgeries? Bush Sr took office temp again.

So a solid team in place to back McCain if need be. A VP who can take on whatever is left a the 4 yrs.
You may ask about why I mention Powell? He lied he even said so & apologized. Apologized admitted to lying about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. Yes he lied. Keep in mind though since forever all of us have said if just once a people would tell the actual truth if they did wrong. Take responsibility. We’d say It would be so nice if people did that & if it was a politician we’d all pass out in shock. Well Powell did do just exactly what we said we would actually appreciate. He actually meant it too.
To be honest the rumors that he did not want to lie however he was told basically "accidents happen & people get sick so terrible if it were to happen to your loved ones Cor. Powell"
Powell would know if they were serious he’d been through it before when he once thought of I Remember Powell considered a possible Pres. run after I think after Clinton left office. He received threats a lot of death threats mainly at his family so he decided not worth it. I understand that.
McCain for President if we can get him to run again. Ventura for VP & Powell in one of the other most important roles.
One day it would be nice if more than one party could work together in the White House. Someday?

Two things I’d like to add even know this is so long.
1.Please no Palin if not for her McCain may have made it to the White House. Not a bad lady but running a country is not easy & not for unqualified we’ve seen that.
2. Not all Democrats even Liberals (although it’s the people & records/histories for me NO more Party loyalty) have problems with the lack of gun rights in fact a lot of Dem’s want our gun rights back & left alone in fact the right to carry even concealed. California is such a nightmare! The rules are nuts. Law Enforcement is not to blame. Regular people cannot get permits in CA (or in other states) hardly ever even with a completely clean record but the endless illegal guns leave people helpless.
Most gun crimes are not by legally bought guns or by legal gun owners. Most are all bought illegally.
I heard from one man former military also former FBI 20 years in fact now works as an investigator he has a permit to carry concealed in 40 or 43 states he works in but not CA.
So not all Dem’s are out to ban stuff. Just seems most people think that maybe it helps somebody to know we’re not all like that ok I’m a no party.
Please give your thoughts about how & who you believe can help us create a Great Country.
Thank you so much!!

I would appreciate what you think about these men and what or who would make a difference what should happen??

You have a lot to learn. Don’t get it here. & it would take to long to elaborate on why I think you’re so misguided

First thing? Read:

http://xroads.virginia.edu/~HYPER/DETOC/toc_indx.html
http://www.usconstitution.net/const.html
http://www.ushistory.org/declaration/document/index.htm

And go to ALL the party websites. Read ALL the platform statements. Keep trak of what you agree with & don’t…..and take a look at candidates trak records. A lepoard cant change it’s spots, no matter what they say to get elected.

Obama more concern about illegals rights refuses to send any help to AZ border where rancher was murdered?

Gov Brewer on Fox News talking Immigration New theories in rancher’s deathby Alex Stone/ABC News (March 30th, 2010 @ 2:34pm) Policy >> Comments:9 PHOENIX – There are new theories about the murder of a southern Arizona rancher who was found shot to death on his ATV. His dog was critically wounded by gunfire.

At this point police believe it was an illegal immigrant who killed Robert Krentz.

Dogs have tracked the shooter into Mexico, but then the trail goes cold.

Police are now working on theories that include the shooter may have been a drug cartel scout or a band of thieves terrorizing Arizona ranches.

Police admit if the shooter lives in Mexico, identify the trigger-person is almost impossible.

Governor Jan Brewer and Open-borders Sen. Johnny Come Lately McCain, in the political battle of his life, is now calling for the National Guard. Don’t read his lips. Read his border security-undermining, law enforcement-abandoning record. Senator John McCain are among a growing number of state leaders calling for more border security

Thank you for calling attention to the murder of the Arizona rancher. This is not an isolated problem. Families who have farmed and ranched on the US/Mexico border for over a hundred years. For many years, we farmed along side those on the other side of the border. Most people who crossed our properties were not a threat, but that has long since changed. We now find ourselves faced with a government that feels the issue is not significant, as well as our neighbors in the city who are more concerned about “immigrants rights” than our safety. While Bush’s fence project had a lot of problems, the section that crosses our property created a significant deterrent. Traffic decreased from over a hundred per day to a handful per week. The cartels don’t care how they get access to your property. If they can’t buy you out, they will kill you and your family.

Welcome to Africa, same way the White Ranchers there lost their income. lifes, homes.Constant harassment, called racists.Just going to get worse, while our Politicians wring their hands when you talk to them and fill their coffers when your back is turned.Common Napolitano, OPEN your eyes!! Now that you are living in one of the most protected areas of the country did you forget how dangerous it is out here, where you policies are failing the people of this country?!!

Is the Washington Post covering up John McCain’s mob connections?

December 29th, 2009 16 comments

IF YOU STILL DOUBT that the big media is determined to keep under wraps the organized crime origins of the $200 million fortune of John McCain and his wife Cindy, take note of how the prestigious Washington Post touched on the issue in its July 22 edition. Rather, instead, note how the Post covered up the matter.

…The Post also added, almost discretely, that Mrs. McCain’s wealth “may” exceed $100 million (although most sources estimate it is worth $200 million or more) and—for the record—that “she was the apple of her father’s eye.”

The Post did not mention that Mrs. McCain’s father was a highly-placed fixture in the Arizona branch of the national organized crime syndicate: He was the chief henchman of the late Kemper Marley, Arizona point man for infamous mob chief Meyer Lansky and his powerful partners-in-crime, the super-rich Bronfman family of Montreal.

In that capacity—for 40 years until his death in 1990—Marley was undisputed political boss of Arizona, acting as the behind-the-scenes power over both the Republican and Democratic parties.

As such, his wealth and connections played the primary role in advancing John McCain’s political career from the start.

The article also mentions how the mob stuff was suppressed by Newsweek (owned by the Washington Post’s parent company).
MORE:

During Prohibition, the Canadian-based Bronfmans supplied—and thus controlled—the “spigot” of liquor funneled to Lansky syndicate functionaries in the United States, including Al Capone in Chicago.

After Prohibition, Lansky-Bronfman associates such as Marley got control of a substantial portion of liquor (and beer) distribution across the country. Marley’s longtime public relations man, Al Lizanitz, revealed that it was the Bronfmans who set Marley up in the alcohol business.

In 1948, 52 of Marley’s employees (including Jim Hensley, the manager of Marley’s company) were prosecuted for federal liquor violations. Hensley got a six month suspended sentence and his brother Eugene went to prison for a year.
In 1953 Hensley and (this time) Marley were prosecuted by federal prosecutors for falsifying liquor records, but young attorney William Rehnquist acted as their “mouthpiece” (as mob attorneys are known) and the two got off scot-free. Rehnquist later became chief justice of the Supreme Court and presided over the “fix” that made George W. Bush president in a rightly disputed election.

Arizona insiders say Hensley “took the fall” for Marley in 1948 and Marley paid back Hensley by setting him up in his own beer distribution business.

Consider the source of your "mob" report..Don’t you think that if there were any mob connections that could be remotely connected to McCain, the liberal media would have the story front and center of every outlet? It the NY Times won’t even run with it, there must be some credibility issues.

Americans to come out of the shadows and remind Washington every day in words and actions that we are a sovere

Will the execution-style murder of three young students in Newark, N.J., finally turn the tide in the immigration-enforcement debate? Will we at last abandon the deadly, chaotic, lawless sanctuary-nation experiment and restore America’s lost status as a sovereign nation under the rule of law?

The death of six innocent men and women and the injury of more than 1,000 at the hands of several illegal alien 1993 World Trade Center bombers wasn’t enough to convince politicians in New York and across this country to end illegal-alien sanctuary policies.

The death of nearly 3,000 innocent men, women, and children at the hands of the 9/11 jihadists who exploited our lax entrance and visa-enforcement policies in 2001 wasn’t enough.

The death of ten innocent men and women in the Washington, D.C., area at the hands of an illegal-alien sniper and his bloodthirsty mentor in 2002 wasn’t enough.

But now we are in the heat of a presidential-election cycle. The open-borders opportunists in immigration-enforcement clothing are professing to see the light. With illegal-alien murder suspect Jose Carranza and his alleged MS-13 gang-banging boy helpers who are being sought in the brutal Newark murder case dominating the news on the eastern seaboard, politicians can’t find a camera fast enough to condemn the very sanctuary policies they promoted and tolerated for decades — sanctuary policies I’ve highlighted for years in this column.

Amnesty-first GOP presidential candidate John McCain is now singing the enforcement-first tune. And GOP presidential hopeful Rudy Giuliani vowed Tuesday to stop the flow of illegal immigrants into the U.S.

He’s touting a “tamper-proof ID card” that includes fingerprints for everyone entering the country and a central database to track when they leave.

What Rudy-come-lately fails to comprehend is that there are already multiple alien tracking databases mandated by federal law that have yet to be fully implemented, integrated and used. The reason they don’t work is because open-borders interests have sabotaged them by restricting funding for them, objecting to them on civil liberties grounds, and pushing local and state governments to forbid public employees from checking them to verify citizenship status. Ring a bell, Rudy?

Giuliani’s newfound border security zeal is intended to blunt criticism by GOP rival Mitt Romney of Giuliani’s pro-sanctuary record as NYC mayor. Giuliani has issued Clintonian denials that he supported sanctuary. But the record is clear. New York City’s sanctuary policy was created in 1989 by Democrat Mayor Ed Koch and upheld by every mayor succeeding him. When Congress enacted immigration reform laws that forbade local governments from barring employees from cooperating with the INS, Giuliani filed suit against the feds in 1997. He was rebuffed by two lower courts, which ruled that the sanctuary order amounted to special treatment for illegal aliens and was nothing more than an unlawful effort to flaunt federal enforcement efforts against illegal aliens. In January 2000, the Supreme Court rejected his appeal, but Giuliani vowed to ignore the law.

To this day, the city’s policy of safe harbors for illegal immigrants stands. Giuliani successor Michael Bloomberg defiantly reiterated the official sanctuary posture of NYC this week: “Let ‘em come.” Could he be more callous, cavalier and out of touch in a post-9/11 world?

From New York to Newark to Seattle to Portland to San Francisco to Los Angeles to San Diego to Houston to Miami, lawmakers have taken this go-with-the-flow attitude toward illegal alien border-crossers and visa overstayers and deportation fugitives. “Let ‘em come.”

But in the wake of the Newark murders and the illumination of illegal alien gang crime penetrating the country, a new rallying cry came from the lips of Newark Mayor Cory Booker: “Get this evil out of my city.” That won’t happen without a demonstrated commitment to cooperate with the feds to enforce immigration laws and deport violent and dangerous criminal aliens first.

A few weeks ago, I launched deportthemnow.com. Nearly 8,000 volunteers have signed up to make their voices heard. Our top priorities will be to push for the adoption of a program known as 287(g) to identify criminal illegal aliens in as many cities as possible; to repeal “don’t ask-don’t tell” sanctuary laws; and to support lawmakers like Newark City Councilman Ron C. Rice, who is pushing a resolution to coordinate efforts between law enforcement when an illegal immigrant is charged with a felony, and New Jersey Assemblyman Richard Merkt (R., Morris), who proposed prohibiting jail officials from releasing illegal immigrants and requiring them to be remanded to federal authorities.

It’s time for ordinary Americans to come out of the shadows and remind Washington every day in words and actions that we are a sovereign nation, not a sanctuary nation.

No more promises. No need to wait for Election ‘08. Just do it.

That’s quite a diatribe of unrelated events.
Don’t expect that revolution any time soon.
