Is there anybody who can help me understand the practice of voodoo and it’s merit?
Two years ago I moved to a small Florida seaside community and was immediately befriended by a guy who seemed genuinely nice. After a few months I started getting a bad vibe from this guy. He seemed to take much pleasure in other peoples misfortune. In fact, when very bad things happened to people around him I sensed it fuelled almost an elation within him that sort of shocked me-I noticed his wife always seemed silent and unhappy- and one time when we were alone she asked me strange questions-like if I knew what he did for work! She claimed she did not know which struck me as COMPLETELY bizarre as they have been together 14 years. She also confided in me that she wanted to leave him but was fearful claiming he was the most "vindictive, and inherently evil person" she had ever known. My conversation with her that day …for a lack of a better phrase….completely freaked me out as it came out of nowhere. We had never spoke more then two words to each other and she was speaking to me in an almost desperate tone…. while my friend had stepped outside to use his cell phone. Shortly after that weird conversation my friend started opening up to me as well- He was from the backwoods of Louisiana, His parents were abusive- and he thought he had these mystical voodoo like powers-He claimed he could heal people-hurt people- and something to do with voodoo-Honestly-when he spoke about this stuff- I kind of winced inside, never really paying attention, always thinking that this guy was a nutjub…And one day I just ended out friendship-I simply stopped calling him and made it a point to never answer the door- Soon, I started getting just evil, threatening IM’s- Some even threatening me with everything from horrific curses, to death. I should have saved them- but brushed them off because I thought he was harmless, and basically nuts—-Then, really bad, really strange things started happening to me one after another- First my Mom who I was very close to passed away suddenly and with no warning while here in town visiting-She was 68, no cause of death could be determined….Then I was hospitalised with a rare – antibiotic resistant blood infection which almost killed me-I’m a 40 year old, totally healthy guy who never even gets the flu- I was hospitalised for 3 months-Then, while walking to my car one night…right outside my house- I was attacked by two guys dressed in black wearing ski masks-I was pistol whipped- and after 5 minutes of being severely beaten up,one of the guys pulled me up and put the gun to my head- My neighbour (Thank God) came running out of his house screaming the Police were on their way. It took 8 staples to put my scalp back together. The strange part was….there was no motive-These guys were perfectly silent-did not rob me – I live in a great neighbourhood- very low crime rate…etc….And c’mon- huge guys dressed in all black in ski masks????? That is not real. That is like movie stuff. Then I lost my job-I had a stellar work record, but suddenly and out of the blue my company scaled back my department and laid me off—another bizarre twist as I have worked for them for 7 years and they spent a lot of money to move me from Chicago down here to Fl-One month prior they had given me a great review and a raise. Now, my girlfriend of 11 years also very healthy—36 years old- who works out every day and eats right- has suddenly been hospitalised… first with an abdominal issues and had to endure two major abdominal surgeries in 9 days, and strange boils that have grown and seem to be … antibiotic resistant. I feel I am a rationale guy- And while I don’t want to let my mind wander down a road that would lead me to believe curses are real…etc….but the timing of all these events…one right after another are really scaring me. Can anyone tell me about voodoo-or curses- etc? Has anyone had any personal experience with such?

Yes….you know i actually took the time to read the WHOLE thing…
anyway, i think you have the wrong idea of what voodoo really is…voodoo is a kind of magic, dealing with affecting energy fields that therefore control a certain aspect of reality. Now the definition i gave you may sound like any other form of magic, but voodoo was used in Africa and places like such, you’ve heard of the doll right? the voodoo doll?, well the voodoo doll was never meant for cursing, most people just use it to curse but voodoo dolls can also be used to bring luck and positive energy, the evil comes from the intention of the practitioner. Now that we have it cleared that voodoo is nothing evil, about that curse. If someone threatens you through IM, its probably most unlikely that he really does and knows how to practice every step and every single delicate procedure in voodoo magic….he’s a fake…trust me, if a voodoo master wanted to harm you, he would have just done it, and wouldn’t even think of trying to have fun by antagonizing you with IM’s, the people who attacked you were probably HIS people. So, let me impart a word to the wise, he is fake if he threatens, i seriously think he is just making it up…the things that happened to you were a coincidence, fix them like you would any other problem in life. But if it were a curse, then you would have to get rid of it with a counter curse, or either purify yourself. I have had a lot of experiences with curses, i know a lot of people who were into those kind of stuff, including me. Curses are just another word for an offensive or malicious spell. Explaining the whole procedure of counter-cursing and purifying would probably take up most of my time, so if i were you i would just let it be. If he were really cursing you then you need not worry, someone who uses magic for evil gets karma threefold. which means he gets the amount of karma he needs to learn from his mistake, if he never learns, then the karma just keeps on coming. Dont worry, let the natural balance of magic bring him to a stop, and probably drag him down to wherever you were when he cursed you. Tell him that to the laws of the universe, he’s in some deep sh*t. the universe has its way for dealing with people like this, don’t worry. OBJECTIVE–To determine the effects of the California motorcycle helmet use law on statewide fatalities and a large sample of nonfatal injuries before and after law implementation. DESIGN–Police reports and death certificates were collected for motorcycle crash fatalities in California for 1991 (prelaw) and 1992 (postlaw). Official counts of registered motorcycles provided a statewide basis for exposure to a motorcycle crash. Autopsy results were collected for fatalities in 11 counties. Hospital records were reviewed for nonfatal injuries in 28 hospitals in 10 of the 11 counties. Police reports were linked to injury data for the riders. SUBJECTS AND PATIENTS–A total of 850 fatalities and injury data for 547 fatally injured riders and 3252 nonfatally injured patients. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES–Changes in number and rates among statewide fatalities were estimated. The number and pattern of head injuries in fatally and nonfatally injured motorcycle riders were evaluated. RESULTS–After implementation of the helmet use law, statewide motorcycle crash fatalities decreased by 37.5%, from 523 fatalities in 1991 to 327 in 1992, more than 37%, and an estimated 92 to 122 fatalities were prevented. Motorcycle fatality rates were reduced by 26.5%, from 70.1 per 100,000 registered motorcycles in 1991 to 51.5 per 100,000 in 1992. Head injuries decreased significantly among both fatally and nonfatally injured motorcyclists. CONCLUSION–Enactment of an unrestricted helmet law significantly reduces the incidence of motorcycle crash fatalities and the number and severity of head injuries.

Here is the evidence of the demented stuff, coincidences, and facts and I would like to know if you think that the algae was the stuff in the bible that turned the water red? and the supernatural is happening to me on and off except I don’t want it to be.

The organism that causes toxic red tide, or "HAB", in New England is a microscopic one-celled alga called Alexandrium tamarense.
Alexandrium toxin (saxitoxin) becomes concentrated in shellfish—clams, quahogs, mussels, scallops, oysters, and other bivalves.
People who eat shellfish containing Alexandrium toxin may be afflicted with paralytic shellfish poisoning (PSP). PSP can result from eating just a few clams. Saxitoxin attacks the human nervous system within 30 minutes with symptoms that may include numbness of the lips, tingling of the extremities, uncoordinated movements, incoherent speech, and nausea. PSP symptoms may be mistaken for drunkenness. In severe cases, paralysis of the breathing mechanism can cause death within a few hours.

In the movie XXX the machine was called AHAB and in the anime a Red Algae toxin Domoic Acid was going to be used to aid in the infection of an evil disease that spreads ten times faster with this. Both were to be dispersed into the air and breaks down in water like in Batman Begins and XXX.

More evidence of other disturbing things is in other movies like the Matrix Trilogy which was inspired by the cult anime/manga Ghost In The Shell and in it’s first movie of the anime the living thing from the web seems like the devil and wants to spread sin spawn onto the internet.

The Matrix trilogy may be cult-ish because it references ‘zion’ and the oracle who turned out to be the ‘false prophet’ and they tried to have the machines represent the anti-christ and Neo (tom anderson) as the rebirth of christ of his generation since after words he gave his life to save the people of Zion and could see Mr.Smith who was evil.

Except not all was as seems because even those of Zion were not good. And when I was in the mental hospital I was thinking of the passages of Isaiah and then remembered the part that says bad in hills and goat demons walking in streets and stuff and found relevant to it too.

In the Matrix and The anime with the Domoic Acid they both mentioned that you don’t need to even eat or drink and this is in reference to perhaps that eating for taste is sin perhaps from the fruit adam and eve ate, which is relevant to sex. Sex is not a need so I chose to be a virgin and plus the devil would keep his friends close, but his enemies closer.

A Stephen King movie was also on infecting in a water reservoir of a red-blood looking alien disease which also happened to be the alien and could morph into people and take people over.
I forget the name of the movie.

The anime with sayings of the domoic acid and the disease of the ‘seeing god’, which I assume is similar to the devil, is Mnemosyne episode 3 and keep in mind it is a disturbing cult-ish religious-ish seeming anime once it gets to a certain episode and there are only 6 and 45min. each.

I have a lot more disturbing things that came into my mind that proved true after the mental hospital and supernatural events and I think the evil stuff is trying to mislead me and others.

If you saw all of Mnemosyne the anime (6 episodes 45min. each) then they reveal it is basically for a ‘seeing God’ and if anything I think it would be the devil.

Nothing you posted shows that a red tide event could effect a freshwater source.

Even in the unlikely case that it could infect a freshwater river like the Nile, there is still the small problem of no evidence existing that suggests that the Exodus story is true, while there is a great deal that suggests the Hebrew culture/people started, developed and spread out from the Canaanite Highlands.

The rest of your "question" is barely stitched together conspiracy theory.

Peter “Pete” Johnson (1904 – 1967)

“Death Ray Boogie”

Pete Johnson was one of the three great boogie-woogie pianists (along with Albert Ammons and Meade Lux Lewis) whose sudden prominence in the late ’30s helped make the style very popular. Originally a drummer, Johnson switched to piano in 1922. He was part of the Kansas City scene in the 1920s and ’30s, often accompanying singer Big Joe Turner. Producer John Hammond discovered him in 1936 and got him to play at the Famous Door in New York. After taking part in Hammond’s 1938 Spirituals to Swing Carnegie Hall concert in 1938, Johnson started recording regularly and appeared on an occasional basis with Ammons and Lewis as the Boogie Woogie Trio. He also backed Turner on some classic records. Johnson recorded often in the 1940s and spent much of 1947-1949 based in Los Angeles. He moved to Buffalo in 1950 and, other than an appearance at the 1958 Newport Jazz Festival, he was in obscurity for much of the decade. A stroke later in 1958 left him partly paralyzed. Johnson made one final appearance at John Hammond’s January 1967 Spirituals to Swing concert, playing the right hand on a version of “Roll ‘Em Pete” two months before his death.

Wanna know the whole story?

This movie had to be reloaded with new background music due to copyright claims by unknown parties. I say unknown because of this:

During the first week in January, I was notified that someone had claimed copyright infringement on a portion of my audio. Since the only music used was the recording of the kids in Osnovna škola Bilje and Israel “Izzy” Kamakawiwo’ole’s version of the song Over the Rainbow, I contacted Mountain Apple Records. I asked them for permission to use the song — even offering to pay a reasonable copyright fee if necessary.

The people at Mountain Apple were very nice and said they were glad that I “thought enough of the song to want to include it in your project. But,” they said, “Mountain Apple only controls the master rights to the song. EMI Music Publishing controls the publishing rights. In order to use the song, you must first get permission from the publisher.” They told me who to contact at EMI (Electric & Musical Industries Ltd.), and said after I received permission, they would let me use the master.

All I heard back from EMI was that “this song is not available for this use.” And then they directed me to their website where they said they were “certain you will be able to find another composition that will work for your website,” for which they “would be happy to quote a fee.”

Well, wait a minute!! Meanwhile I hear back from Youtube, who tells me that the copyright claim was made by WMG (Warner Music Group).

I looked on Amazon, and they list Amazon Digital Services, Inc, and SONY BMG Music Entertainment Downloads LLC as the sellers.

So who owns the rights to Iz’s music? I don’t know. I couldn’t find a listing of his name at either EMI, or WMG’s websites.

It’s just a shame that for Israel Kamakawiwo’ole, “Izzy”, “Iz”, “Brudda Iz”, whose music became as popular worldwide as it is due to — not record sales — but because of it’s use and exposure in movies, commercials, and in Youtube videos and tributes, his musical legacy is being stifled by the greedy corporate executives in the recording industry. It is their dispute with Youtube over compensation that has caused this, and other people’s videos, to be removed or changed.

But I still love Brudda Iz’s music. The original (and officially sanctioned) version of the song “Over the Rainbow” can be seen here:

At the end of the video, it shows his ashes being scattered in Hawaii after his death in 1997, at the age of 38.

GCT school visit.

Our visit to this Croatian school happened well into our vacation. When we got home and started organizing the photos and videos, I had to make this movie first because of the impression the kids and the people (and the food too) of Croatia made on me.

I hope they enjoy my tribute to them as much as we enjoyed our visit.

In a change of heart, lead prosecutor, Linda Drane Burdick, of the state attorney’s office filed a letter of intent Monday to seek the death penalty for Casey Anthony.

A spokeswoman for Jose Baez, Casey Anthony’s attorney, has confirmed that the defense has been notified. Baez is not qualified to defend a client in a death penalty case because he does not have the required amount of experience by the Florida Bar.
